265 Main Street was originally built sometime in the late 1880s. An extensive renovation took place in the 1920s which split the house into three units. Botero Development used many existing features to perserve the history of the house when converting it to two Condominums in 2011.

Living In Lawrenceville

Lawrenceville is a perfect mix of new and old Pittsburgh. Have a drink in the oldest bar in Pittsburgh or meet a friend at the latest hot spot. Enjoy dinner at a trendy sushi restaurant or stick with the classic fish sandwich. Pick up a handmade birthday card and gift at Wildcard.

On historic Butler Street, art and antique galleries sit among neighborhood shops, bars, restaurants, and salons. Other businesses include Arsenal Lanes Bowling and your choice of coffee shops. There is even a vacuum repair shop.

Just blocks away, you will find parks, river access, bike trails, a Carnegie library branch, schools, and a yoga and dance center. Lawrenceville is easy to travel around on foot or by bike. There is direct public transportation to Downtown, the Strip, Oakland, Shadyside and Squirrel Hill.

Lawrenceville's industrial heritage includes the centerpiece of the industrial revolution. Lawrenceville, along with the Strip District, is the birthplace of the world's aluminum, glass, oil, greese and air brake industries, where Andrew Carnegie first set up shop. Lawrenceville's Arsenal provided the North with most of its Civil War weaponry. Lawrenceville is the home of the world's first rock star, Stephen Foster.
